HORSEMEN CARE
ConcreteCare
Algae, mould, pollution and water cause deterioration and damage to buildings, monuments and engineered structures incorporating concrete. Not only are water and damp penetration harmful but water ingress can also cause serious damage to surfaces by introducing harmful materials such as salts. Most surfaces are easily contaminated by algae and moss which not only ruins the aesthetics of the structure but also cause permanent damage. Repeated cleaning and algae removal is also both costly and harmful to the surface.
On applying ConcreteCare there is little or no change to the aesthetic appearance of the surface. Hydrophobic impregnation creates a water-repellent surface. The surface remains fully permeable to water-vapour exchange and, most importantly, algae and moss have no adherence to the surface. The wax layer also provides UV protection to the surface.
